Ruber SolesThe final step in crafting a pair of shoes is to add the protective rubber outsoles. We use a soft and thin TPR-style rubber for this, which allows the shoes to remain lightweight and flexible. These two characteristics are what make them uniquely comfortable.
With time and wear, these outer soles may start to wear thin in the heel or toe area. This depends on various factors such as your walking form, the nature and frequency of wear, and exposure to the elements.
Thankfully, by design, these outsoles can easily be replaced. Servicing the soles helps maximize the lifetime of your shoes.
If there is a local cobbler in your area, we encourage you to consult them for service. Resoling shoes is a standard job that any cobbler should have no issue accommodating.
